In practical terms, your Contract lets you do your job without worrying about your job. It’s your bill of rights—legal, binding and it comes with an organization ready to back it up. That’s peace of mind.
As an IAM Member, you have the right to propose changes to your contract when it comes up for negotiation. And you have the right to vote to approve or reject any contract under which you will work. Whenever a new contract is negotiated, you have the right to receive a copy.
